Transactional Email integrated with Litmus to offer screenshot testing for your templates. Transactional Email can check your template against a combination of over 30 email clients/browsers.
Note
The Screenshot Test feature is under construction to resolve performance issues. These tests are currently available to users with a paid account at no additional cost, but offer limited functionality and may not work as expected.
Run a Screenshot Test
- Go to Outbound.
- Choose Templates.
- Hover over a template and choose edit code, or create a new template.
- Set up your template information, including any HTML or text portions and default options.
- Hover over Preview and Test and choose Screenshot Test.
- In the confirmation window that appears, click Yes, Send Test.
View Screenshot Test Report
Under Template Defaults, you'll see a list of screenshot tests that have already run. When the screenshot test completes at least one test, you can click View Report to see details.
On the right side of the page, we'll show 2 or 4 variations for each of client and browser combination. For every client there's a screenshot of the email only and a screenshot of the full program with the email preview (this is especially useful for desktop clients). A few of the clients also have screenshots with content blocking on, so you can see exactly what your recipients see if they have images turned off by default.
